Collection: Women's Opportunity Center
At the Women's Opportunity Center (WOC) of Rwanda, survivors of war learn to create handmade products that enable them to generate income and become self-reliant. From colorful bags to stunning bracelets, every purchase empowers the talented women behind these exquisite hand-crafted creations.
The WOC is more than just a training center—it is a community hub that fosters collaboration, support, and solidarity among genocide survivors.
“The center is their livelihoods, not just for women but for their families,” explains Joy Rwamwenge, the center’s Executive Director. “Most were living in poverty, but now they can sell, send their children to school, buy basic necessities, and pay for health insurance.”
In addition to purchasing the handmade products below, you can support with symbolic giving or donations.
