Preventing Violence Against Women

Through our program, the most marginalized women who have experienced unimaginable physical, emotional, and sexual violence learn about their rights and begin the healing process. We and our partners offer:

• Safe spaces for women to gather
• Gender-based violence counseling and prevention strategies
• Trauma care and mental health services
• Documentation of sexual violence for authorities

When women learn about their rights, they create a culture in their communities that promotes relationships based on equity and supports individuals who take a personal and public stand against abuse.
