You can provide a food basket to families fleeing the brutal war in Sudan. Every basket includes a supply of flour, sugar, rice, and oil, as well as non-food essentials like soap and sanitary pads. Our local partner, Zenab for Women in Development, is rapidly distributing these essential supplies to women-led households in Gadaref state.

After one year of civil war, almost 18 million people across Sudan are facing acute hunger and are in dire need of food assistance. Food is limited and less nutritious, which forces women and girls to eat last and consume less. Food scarcity has also increased the risk of intimate partner violence, sexual exploitation, and abuse—driving harmful coping strategies like child marriage.
