Goat

For women in our programs, the sound of a goat bleating is sweet: it represents income generation, self-sufficiency, and a better future. In Afghanistan, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, goats are often raised for milk or cheese to be sold at the market. A goat can change lives by giving a woman an income that she will reinvest in caring for her family.
